The NA is exhibiting some of its publications, which include Zayed Ibn Al Sahra’a wa Sane’e Al Hadara, The Third River, Rasa’el Al Rasoul and the new edition of Zayed Wa Al Torath, in addition to Zayed Rajul Bana Umma and the volumes of the Sheikhs’ Diaries (Yawmiat Al Shoyoukh) which are:

These diaries, which cover certain periods, contain the social, economic, media and political activities and daily events of the Sheikhs, and are documented according to topic. In addition to specialized publications, the NA booth is exhibiting some periodicals and brochures about its role, achievements and growth and a large screen displays documentaries about the past and present of the UAE.

Regarding the NA’s participation in the 33rd Sharjah International Book Fair, HE Dr. Abdulla El Reyes, Director General, said that the National Archives of the UAE is devoted to positive annual participation at the Sharjah Book Fair, as it is a yearly cultural event for intellectuals, researchers and readers. It is the fourth-largest book fair in the world; thus, we seek to spread the National Archives’ mission and its noble objectives in the service of our nation’s history, heritage and identity into the Sharjah International Book Fair’s wide circles.

The Director General continued, saying that the NA seeks to expand awareness of its social role and inform the new generation of the UAE’s cultural heritage as well as nurturing its national identity, belonging and loyalty. These noble objectives provided the guidelines for our rich and documented publications featuring valuable heritage and historical material to reflect the cultural movement in the UAE.

Visitors to the NA’s booth will be able to find a spot for the NA’s Smart Apps.
