The National Archives and the Khalifa Student Empowerment Program Discuss Ways of Cooperation

HE Dr. Abdulaziz Al Raisi, Acting Executive Director at the National Archives of the United Arab Emirates, discussed with Colonel Expert Dr. Ibrahim Al Dabal, Coordinator General of the Khalifa Student Empowerment Program, "aqdar" ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides.
That happened in the meeting held at the headquarters of the National Archives to discuss and strengthen cooperation mechanisms in order to achieve the mutual goals and aspirations.
The meeting started by presenting the National Archives’ activities and its active role in organizing the archives of more than 200 government agencies. Dr. Al Raisi elaborated in reviewing the role of the National Archives in the national upbringing of the students in the different grades during the cultural season and the educational programs. HE also shed lights on the National Archives’ efforts in its current cultural season that aim to increase the number of students who interact with its activities to 20000 at its corner which will be established in the global children's educational city "Kidzania Dubai", and on its role for educating students through many a number of activities and educational programs.
The expert, Dr. Ibrahim Al Dabal, praised the role of the National Archives, which intersects with the role of Khalifa Student Empowerment Program "aqdar", particularly in the context of sound upbringing, consolidating the values of citizenship and belonging, raising the level of positive awareness of national issues, developing the spirit of social responsibility among students. Dr. Al Dabal called the National Archives to contribute with its programs in "aqdar", and to provide the program with pictures, documented information, documentaries, electronic scientific research and its smart applications. HE also expressed their program’s readiness to support the National Archives’ activities and provide it with its archives. The Coordinator General of the Khalifa Student Empowerment Program highlighted the most significant achievements of the program, which are the establishment of a special website for the program, the scientific material document, the awareness electronic games, along with a lot of activities and events.
The Acting Executive Director of the National Archives commended the leading initiative of His Highness Lt. General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior in Khalifa Student Empowerment Program "aqdar" and welcomed the constructive cooperation with the program as it benefits the young citizens, helps in their sound national upbringing and strengthen their values of loyalty and belonging. HE stressed that the National Archives by the very fact performs this important national role and that “aqdar” participation in this field and the exchange of experiences with it will double the chances of success.
Dr. Al Raisi took the National Archives’ guests on a tour that included the Emirates Library, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Hall, which displays photos, maps and documents, and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Virtual Reality Theatre. At the end of the visit, the National Archives presented its memorial shield to the Khalifa Student Empowerment Program.
